Nestling in the majestic world of mountains of the 3905m high Ortler massif is the gem of Sulden, a picturesque village of 350 inhabitants, but with an incomparable abundance of nature. 

Spring bedazzles with its array of colourful mountain flowers, as does summer with its babbling brooks and the fragrance of our coniferous woodland. Our golden autumn is a paradise for hikers ere Sulden's famous winter woos you with its sun, snow, cross-country ski runs and ski lifts; its unique mountain climate and the peacefulness of our mountain nights under twinkling stars.

Probably hardly anywhere else are the attractions for recuperation augmented so perfectly by the comforts of a village so full of life and with such a range of facilities: wellness, fun and inner peace. Sulden is located in the middle of the Stilfserjoch national park surrounded by 14 mountains each higher than three thousand metres. This village is located between 1,900 and 2,000 metres above sea level, secure in a protective hollow surrounded by mountains. This makes Sulden so unique in the whole of the alpine region.
